Yankees put Marte on DL with inflamed shoulder

Fellow southpaw Boone Logan was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to fill the roster spot.

Marte has pitched to a 4.08 earned run average in 30 games out of the bullpen this year. He's held opponents to a .161 average over 17 2/3 innings.

Logan saw action in 17 games for New York earlier this season and holds a 3.93 ERA through 18 1/3 innings.
